Working at the forefront of human capital and social performance means we understand the importance of connection, diversity, and shared purpose. At Denominator, these values guide everything we do. They also shape how we approach building relationships among our colleagues across the globe.
As a mainly remote company, most of our interactions happen virtually. While technology allows us to collaborate seamlessly, it does not replace the value of meeting in person. This is why our annual Team Days are an essential part of how we work and grow together.
Copenhagen: stories, exploration, and trust
This year, team members from Europe and US gathered in Copenhagen for three days filled with shared experiences. We explored Hamlet’s Castle in Helsinbørg, tested our teamwork as spies in a city escape room, and discovered Copenhagen´s canals of the city by boat. Over lunches, dinners and snacks of Danish cuisine, we found time to connect beyond work.
One of the most impactful moments was creating space to share personal stories. These conversations helped us understand one another’s perspectives and working styles. Building trust does not happen overnight. It starts with openness and grows when people feel seen and heard.
Philippines: culture, nature, and reflection
At the same time, our Asia-Pacific colleagues gathered in the Philippines. The team immersed themselves in the culture and natural beauty of Boracay. They sailed together, helmet-dived among vibrant marine life, and reflected on the goals for the months ahead.
While the activities were different, the intention was the same. We believe that experiencing something new together builds connection that endures long after the event ends. It also helps create memories that strengthen our shared identity as a company.
An investment in our people
Team Days are not just an annual tradition. They are an investment in our culture and the people who make Denominator what it is. Every moment spent learning about each other, exchanging ideas, and celebrating our diversity has a lasting impact.
As we move forward, the trust and connection we built will continue to guide our work. Whether we are developing data solutions, advising clients, or supporting each other across time zones, we know that team connection is the foundation of sustainable growth.
